The master bathroom is a masterpiece of wood, stone, and glass. The twin French Provincial pedestal sinks catch your eye as you walk in the room and are topped with stand out beveled mirrors and marbleized glass lights. A narrow antique cabinet fits perfectly between the vanities and stores linens and toiletries. The floors and walk-in shower are covered with multi-colored, gray and gold slate that mix well with the home’s earthy palette. The interior wood walls are lightly stained with a clear color and provide a rustic backdrop.

With the project behind them and years of enjoyment ahead, they have been able to sit back and reflect on their dream home journey with very few regrets. “We thoroughly enjoy the peace we feel living near the lake and having just a few neighbors,” says Mary Anna. “You can let your thoughts drift away while you watch the sunset over the water or the flames growing in the fireplace. We have truly found our escape.” CBLH

A tall bentwood willow bed (below left) graces the master bedroom with a checkered reading chair and nightstand. A petite corner cabinet holds several antique pieces for a bit of charm. French doors lead to a private porch that overlooks the lake. Twin French Provincial pedestal sinks (below right) catch your eye as you walk in the master bathroom and are topped with prominent beveled mirrors and marbleized glass lights. A narrow antique cabinet fits perfectly between the vanities and stores linens and toiletries. Multi-colored, gray and gold slate covers the floors and walk-in shower.
