Country’s Best
Log Homes
VOLUME 14 • NUMBER 2
www.loghomesnetwork.com
The log homes industry is chang-
ing, and Country’s Best Log Homes is
changing with it beginning with the
May issue. We’re going to pack in even
more of the information you’ve come
to expect; in addition, we’ll expand our
coverage to the entire universe of log
homes, including handcrafted homes. Many of the same elements will
remain. We’ll still include resources,
tons of advice from other homeown-
ers, the most log-home floor plans in
the business, and tons of photography
showing many different ideas to help
you find the home or design that’s right
for you.
We’ll also be adding or expanding
our lineup in these areas:
• Log-home basics. We’ll include
even more information on pricing,

always been the “greenest” of struc-
tures. We’ll take that concept and expand upon it. We’ll look at breakthroughs in HVAC
(heating/venting/air conditioning), lighting, smart technology, maintenance, and other
trends used in log homes to help save owners money after they’ve moved in.
• Expanding Favorite Plans. Floor plans are a popular part of each issue, and we’ve
had a lot of positive comments on our room-by-room Favorite Plans. Besides continu-
ing these themes, we’ll feature plans for single-floor living, homes under 1,800 square
feet, designs for a compact footprint, hybrid log homes, and for homes with base pack-
ages under $125,000.
• Expanded Cabin Fever section. More tours, listings, news, and coverage than ever.
• Bigger photos and more tours, including our centerfold “Home of the Month.” We
sift through literally dozens of home and hundreds of photos to select the featured tour
for each issue. We’ll take it a step farther with a different presentation for the “headliner”
home.
• Expanded directory listings. Meet local log-home representa-
tives and builders, find out where model homes are, and let them
tell you about some of the popular and/or memorable homes
they’ve built over the years.
Every issue, you’ll get the most comprehensive coverage of log
homes in the business. That’s our promise to you.
